The car does start! When the key is at the "run" position it turns the engine over and the starter does not disengage. When the key is turned to the "start" position the starter releases. I'm thinking the switch went bad... Could there be a relay problem? Any help is appreciated.

i figured this one out. i was the starter relay grounds. i did a continuity test and found they were no good. rerouted them and now the world keeps turning.
