My advice, wait till they are legal to import. Not only is it a bit of a trick to insure and license, it also depends on your location for emissions.
I was very fortunate to get what i got but you will most likely end up paying the same regardless of buying one now or when they can be imported. I am in no way trying to steer you away from a dream, just speaking from first hand. One other thing is, due to the car being so rare here in the states its very hard to find parts. almost all parts have to be sourced from over seas $$$$$$$$$$ this will most likely change when the car is legal to import. As far as finding one here...good luck, people usually are pretty quiet if they have one. your best bet is to look to our neighbor Canada.
