im trying to get a clutch replacement for my celli, stage 1 specifically. optionsauto.com offers two clutch products... ACT-SPSS and ACT SPMM. MM costing more and SS being cheaper. i tried googling the differences but have no luck finding info. knowing will help me decide whether or not i can save money or figuring out which product is the best and why. can anyone help? thanks

again with the stages. company X stage 1 is not the same as company Y stage one. so please dont use stages.
now if you just need a plain clutch for a daily driver with an intake and exhaust, get an OEM one from toyota. they will be cheaper than the aftermarket ones. I have had very good luck with Autozone clutches actually (I personally dont use them, but have installed at least 100) they are less expensive than the OEM and do the job just fine. just get an OEM throw out bearing. if you do want a upgraded clutch, get a southbend. I have installed over 100 of their clutches easily and i have one in every one of my cars (9 and counting now) -------------------- 2001 Celica GT-S Turbo

thanks for the reply, im not mechanically inclined, but i figured stages were determined by manufacturers. also thanks for recommending southbend, was about to drop a buttload of dough on ACT, ill definitely be buying one as a small upgrade to replace my dying clutch
