I will soon be beginning the brake swap on my st204. I have the 205 calipers and disc, which have been reduced to 300mm. Does anyone know if, using this setup, I'll have to grind almost 10mm on the bracket?

The others topic I've found talk about grinding the bracket to fit a front disc which isn't design to go there, like subaru's and Cadillac...

Thanks

you reduced the diameter of the rotors? both front and rear?

where did you see people saying that grinding needed to be done for the front brackets?

I only had the front discs reduced to 300mm. I haven't bought the rear one yet but from what I've seen here it's pretty much bolt on + a small spacer.

I've found on Culpable04 thread that he removed almost 10mm of his front bracket. But he isn't using st205 disc, but some Cadillac rotors from what I've been told.

you probably dont have to shave anything off of the brackets, but to be sure youd have to get the "hat" depth measurement to see how far in the hub it would sit

I'll probably start with a fitment test to check how everything sits together... And then if it doesn't look like it belong there, I'll take measurement of my current 204 disc and my 205 disc to compare how there are differences in depth or other spec.

I'll have to start by threading the mounting holes on the bracket and maybe the calipers too.

Thanks for your help!
