Gonna swap a 3s into my ST with 7afe....my question is if I will need the GT power steering hard lines or is there a way to make my ST ones work

I started with what I know to do, I swap engine into my car, I knew it was too much work to make it a AWD. I kept it FWD. Went to take a crack at doing the wiring conversion. Than, I realize, shoot, this is out of my league.

no the ST power steering pump is totally different. you need the GT pump and the hard lines that run along the side of the engine bay. the heavy duty rubber lines from the steering rack can be re-used.

Yea I know I cant use the pump itself (although im sure someone could fabricate a bracket to fit it on) was just hoping I could bend those hard lines or something.
guess I need to find someone parting out their GT then

Find a GT at the junk yard and take the PS reservoir and hard lines. I paid like $20 for all.. I used the ST215 pump and ST lines coming from the steering rack
