Anybody have any experience taking off the trunk lid from a hatchback?

So anyway by removing the trunk lid, do you mean removing the whole hatch? If you do it's just removing the hatch supports. Removing the headliner. Disconnecting the washer jet hose and unplugging the connector for the third brake light and the rear wiper. Then you can unbolt the hinges under the headliner.

If you need help let me know. The hatch is really heavy and is a minimum 2 person Job to carry it.

Wassup man good to see some other 6gc's still being driven around the islands.
Was just wondering about the hatch because I might grab it off another celi being parted out. I have a 3 post spoiler on mine and thought it would probably be less work to just grab a hatch with the 2 post so i can just slap the gt4 spoiler on there eventually.

Yup, its a bunch less work than patching up the 3 post
