Just got a free carfax report from a link on Fark.com...
Interesting results... Appears my car has a salvage title issued in Feb. 2002... yet it wasn't on the title when I bought the car. And I'm the 4rth owner... other than that, nothing bad...lol |

Hehehe... they my AE86 qualifies for the 5,000 coverage... and carfax claims it's clean...

should be interesting to see if my MR2 turns up anything, i have a good standing title on it (not salvage) but the motor was siezed 2 owners ago, the previous owner rebuilt the whole thing. ill have to check it when i get home.

my car has had 3 owners which is what i knew.
the original owner bought it in 1991 in New York, he had the car for 11 years untill 2002 (which i already know is when the motor seized on him) after that the car was purchased in PA (which was the owner before me) he spent a full year repairing the car, and drove it for 2 months after completion, then decided to buy a 04 WRX STi and thats where i come in hehe. cars been driven an average of 8k miles a year. not too shabby. -------------------- Believer, you'll leave her, in leaving them all No but I don't buy it Like anything you do, as anyone you are Cause I'm... Its good to know that I haven't been lied to.
I'm the second owner with no major accidents. It did have a fender bender accident though, but nothing major. |

remember also for the carfax to show up with a major accident it must be reported to them or the DMV. 99% of all accidents dont get reported to them unless its to claim the insurance for a totaled vehicle.
