I have a connector i don't have plugged into anything, i'm thinking maybe that's why i can't get my speedo to work. it has 3 wires in it, they are red/blue middle wire is blue/black and the left wire is blue.
It is located near my MAF and under the throttle body. The engine i have is a 3sge redtop. Anyone know what my unidentified connector might be?
Thanks

There's s three wire plug on top of the trans for the speedo. It's a little difficult to find without taking things aboart but you should be able to find it if you feel around.

id think that taking off the intake piping would give you a clearer view of the top of the trans

It's towards the firewall side of the trans. It's not easy to see with the engine in the bay, unless you take the intake plenum off and even then it's not the easiest to find. You can feel around for it until you find it though. Still not easy but it's the easiest way to find it. There are two plugs on the trans, one is for reverse lights and the other is for the speedo. You should be able to find it in a couple of minutes by feeling around. It's somewhere in the area directly underneath the throttle body.

The connector is almost directly above the input shaft of the passenger side axel, if you were to go straight up from the axel on the transmission - still, not the easiest thing to get to.
