Just finished putting my interior back together. I had all four seats and the shift boot professionally done. I did the door panels and the center arm rest myself. Let me know what you think.

Looks great! Are the seats leather?
Also, was it hard to do the door panels yourself? -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

How much did you do your rear seats for?
I want to do my rear seats like yours because I got racing seats for my front in leather that color. |

The materials for everything is a vinyl which surprisingly feels and look a lot like real leather. I paid $800 for all 4 seats and the shift boot. THe door panels were not that difficult to do, I wrote up a how to but it still has to be approved. You can definitely tell that I did them myself though compared to the excellent work that my interior guy did.

Agreed. No offense intended at all. It still looks relaly good, but I'd say if there was any constructive criticism for the project, it would be to redo the door panels to look a bit more clean. Other than that it's awesome, and even the door panels aren't that bad looking...they just don't look as good cuz we're comparing them to the professional work done on the seats ya know? Awesome look tho, I'm lovin it! -------------------- 95 Toyota Celica GT

Yeah, they do look pretty good. Could be a bit tighter fitting though...I only say this because the guy literally raped you on the price, so you should make him redo it until you are 100% satisfied. For $800 he should have redone your dash and head liner too. $500 is average for the job you had done. I have the same thing done as you, minus the door panels and I paid $300. So let your upholstery guy know what's up.

thanks for the heads up xs...I asked around quite abit around here...I got three quotes of $1000, 1 for $900 and then i settled for this guy for $800. I think the problem is that in florida this kind of work gets done quite often so there are many reputable shops that will do it for less. In this case, these were all guys that mostly do full custom hot rod interiors. But who knows.
