So I see this DC Sports EX-5016 muffler on the shelves at the auto parts stores and I'm wondering if anyone has used this muffler before. 2.25" Inlet and 3.25" outlet 16.25" long. It's around $40 online. Maybe I could get something better for that price? Thanks!

Anything DC sports makes is horrible. I don't care what anyone says...
I've had a DC muffler on a car before.. Owner before me did it.. Sounded like a fart can.. Get a magnaflow or injen or flowmaster or borla exhaust.. This post has been edited by Jmk91: May 27, 2015 - 2:11 PM |

Magnaflows aren't expensive and are a quality product. Dynomax/Thrush and Holley/Hooker/Flowtech are also good companies that make a fairly priced muffler. Of course there's Flowmaster, Borla, Spintech, and the like but then you're spending at least twice as much as the aforementioned.
I'd recommend a baffled muffler as they remove raspiness and harshness, something like the Magnaflow XL is only $60 or so and you can get the cheaper Dynomax and Holley mufflers for $30-40 shipped off eBay and Amazon all day. My brother used a Magnaflow XL on his Genesis 2.0T and it actually sounds really good for a four-cylinder. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed
