Nope. Do not fear though as you do have another choice for the coupe courtesy of its Japanese market variation the Curren:

These lights came off of the st206 curren and will fit the coupe version of our Celica. In my opinion, they look better than the stock coupe tail lights because of the black tint. The price is expensive, but I have not seen too many of these posted on eBay over the past couple of years.

Ah, the joys of owning a coupe. The curren lights make it look soooo much better. They don't come up that often either, hit up some other forym member who lives overseas, he might be able to help out. But 190 is more than I paid for mine (not by much though)

The cheaper option is to cover them with tint film or black candy paint.

![]() pic host Do not tint your tail lights with film... It's a huge waste and looks horrible... Few years if that it'll look horrid... I got mine professionally tinted with paint. Idk what it costs mine was free at my shop I work at but we have tinted tail lights with film and its not pretty vs real paint... PS: sorry my car is a mess... Haha. It's cleaned out now. I work 16 hour days so it geta dirty quickly.. This post has been edited by Jmk91: Jul 24, 2015 - 6:17 PM |

Tint turns out great if you know what you're doing.

We are a professional shop we do signs to wrapping entire cars to anything. Tint film might look good at first but if you do a side by side vs a real tint you'll see a big difference. Also real tint lasts forever if you wax it ect. Film only lasts 5-7 years and that's for 3m 1080. We only offer a 2 year warranty but the expected life is 5-7. The tint in a can vht does work decent if your good at it. Guy at work can make it almost perfect after sanding and polishing it correctly. Now I did my turn signals/side markers in vht it looks decent but hey the can is like 7$ and sand paper is like 5 and polish is like 8 so it worked for me lol.

A friend of mine has a TA that's wrapped in vinyl, bright orange, and it looks great compared to wasting money painting a race car.

5-7 years is plenty, plus if you get pulled over for it you can rip it off on the spot. I prefer black candy and clear coat myself since it's easier than futzing with a heat gun and squeegee. There could've been something wrong with that one can of VHT and/or clear but it was never deep and glossy and it faded quickly. The clear was the Duplicolor perfect match automotive paint that's worked time and time again on body panels without fail so I'm leaning towards the VHT.
After using black candy paint and seeing the results and how it's held up I'd never use VHT again anyway. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed
