okay so my drivers rear caliper may be sezied... that past couple of days its been squeaking badly ( low pad life) so today i took a closer look and my rotor is bluing from the heat and it looks like i have no pad on the outside ( opposite of the piston) this happened to my front and i had to replace my caliper. but my local parts store said the front and rear calipers are on factory back order so there going to be next to impossible to get. i ending up replacing the front caliper with a camry single piston caliper. when that happened a couple months ago but now I'm not sure what to replace the rear with.. has anyone else ran into this problem, any help would be great.

also there are no 6 gens in the scrap yards around me that i know of kindasad.gif

Unless you have a conversion I am not aware of and have the 94 GT, the front calipers are available almost anywhere online (got mine from Rockauto.com) and the rears should be available at almost any auto parts store as well as online. I just got new calipers all around (seized brackets), and got the fronts from rockauto, rears were available at advance auto.

That said and re-reading your post, you should be able to find replacements online.

RockAuto.com

and you'll get better calipers for less than you pay Oreilly even after you pay shipping.
You just have to wait a few days for them.

S+G Imports has remans, for about $80 each w/core. iirc , bought one about 4 years ago. Worked ok. Install was easy.
