The mounting points for the super strut bracket are slightly further away from the center of the knuckle in order to accommodate the bigger diameter superstrut bearing. So superstrut bracket is a bit more shallow which therefore seats/sits into superstrut knuckle different than McPherson bracket.
More info below http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=87642 So if anyone is trying to put his twin piston caliper and bracket onto his McPherson knuckle it won't work. Instead just use the twin piston caliper onto your McPherson brake bracket, and it will work.
