New clutch issues... Options

So my oem clutch had 174k on it. Worked decently well still just the throw out bearing started to make noise. Well I ordered exedy clutch and had a guy put it in for me.. He used to work at a transmission shop and works on transmissions still every weekend. Anyway now that my new clutch is in I don't feel it grab really at all... What I mean by that is if your on flat ground in 1st-3rd gear and slowly let go of the clutch at a dead stop the car moves forward. Well... My car isn't moving forward in 1st even like it is but maybe .002 mph... I'm assuming he didn't bleed the master cylinder I'm going to do that tomorrow morning but any other suggestions? I am going to call him back to see what the hells going on but if its something small that takes me a few mins that's fine but if you guys think its something more I'll take it back asap. Once moving car drives 100% great the clutch feels good it just doesn't grab like a normal clutch does. I mean it's brand new it should grab like a fat kid grabbing a Twinkie but its grabbing like a homeless man to a now hiring sign lol.

The rude analogy isn't needed, things aren't always as they seem.

It sounds like it needs to be bled, and you do that at the master and then at the slave to ensure all the air is out. You'll need someone to help for a few minutes, someone to turn the bleeder and then someone to push the pedal down. Once that's done you might need to adjust the pedal itself, there's a rod between the pedal and clutch master that can be adjusted if I recall correctly.

Okay I bleed the living hell out of the clutch cylinder it did indeed have a bunch of air. I did the one man bleeder method and repeated it 20x until pedal was normal feeling aka no longer soft. Issue now is my clutch slave cylinder is speaking unless I push in lightly on it.. Slave cylinder isn't leaking ect. Also it feels rough to have my foot rest on the clutch pedal.... It like feels as if something is catching or wobbling around. Feels like that with no pressure on it and whenever the pedal is going down until its flat it no longer feels like that. I'm 100% clueless. I'm going to take it back to him but he's busy till the weekend and I work 15+ hour days Monday-Friday... I drive my car 40 miles everyday so leaving it parked for a week isn't really an ideal option... I can use my gf car but its a huge hassle because of my work schedule.. So any ideas is greatly appreciated. Slave cylinder isn't leaking any fluid neither is the master cylinder, no signs of any issues between them besides the squeaking

Squeaking would be he just didn't get enough grease on the throwout bearing. Also you're not supposed to rest your foot on the clutch pedal.

Might could trying working the clutch with the car off to see if that doesn't spread the grease on it. If not would suck to have to drop it again just for that.

I know.you shouldn't rest your foot on the clutch it was just an attempt to explain the issue. If you touch the clutch pedal with your hand while applying hardly any pressure it feels as if metal is hitting metal or rubbing its actually quiet hard to explain let alone Google. The squeaking is coming from the cable that attaches to the slave cylinder I'll take some pictures tomorrow to show what I'm talking about. Even on the slave cylinder any pressure and it feels like.rubbing but fully engaged you don't feel a thing.

cable on slave cylinder? there are no cables involved with the clutch. its all hydro.

So it's coming from the clutch lines? I'm thinking it's something to do with the throwout bearing, that or maybe trash got into the slave and is jamming it up some.

This sounds like 2 issues, either its a bad pressure plate or a bad master cylinder, something aint holding pressure.
Check the master cylinder if u had installed a new pressure plate/clutch, it will be most likely a bad clutch master cylinder

And if u want to check the slave cylinder, look at the slave and have someone push in the clutch in and out,
If the slave moves back and forth, then ur slave is working andnpushing in the clutch fork, which pushes the prassure plate.

It's not the world's easiest issue to explain haha. Okay if you look under the hood of our celicas and you find the slave cylinder to the right you'll see part of the slave cylinder and something that attaches to it.. Makes like a 90 degree angle that part that attaches to slave cylinder is what's vibating not sure if that is causing all my.other issues or not. I'll take some pictures after work
