i bought my braces right from toyota. for the front i got the factory brace from a 94 celica, and for the rear i got the factory brace from the gt4. it cost me about 100 total.

you could probably make some yourself if you can weld.

you can make them yourself or buy from toyota, or perhaps go aftermarket and buy Whiteline strut bars, though they are quite expensive. check out whiteline's website by searching google, you own't be disappointed.

don't mod existing strut bars and don't buy stock ones. GAB makes them pretty cheap. check cyberspace j-speed also makes some. TRD makes a front. you have a lot of options

ok, just to let you know, that stock one, will prolly be better then any other kind you can buy, all you want is a solid peace of metal, an thats all the stock is, not a cheap $180 pos.. that wont do any more then an e-bay one, the point is, to just link the two towers togeather so they dont flex,,, therre for a solid peace of metal welded on the towers, will work better then any with a name on it......

Stock bar doesnt link the two struts though...it goes to the center of the engine bay right under the winshield from both sides. Buying a full link would render greater performance.

if all you need is a solid piece of metal, how can you say that a stock one will be better than any other kind? And the type of metal makes a difference and where it sits in the bay.
