Hey guys
Decided to change my oil and filter today. When I went to remove the sump plug I managed to get it going but it will not come out at all it is just spinning now. I have done some research and found its likely the nut inside the sump that has come undone so I was wondering if anyone has replaced the sump on a 3S-GE and is it a easy enough task. From first inspection it doesn't look that simple. Also any tips on maybe getting the sump plug out would be fantastic -------------------- 1997 White ST202

if the drain plug isnt coming out I would suggest taking off the pan and attacking the issue from the inside out.
the threads for the bolt seem like they may be gone This post has been edited by Tigawoods: Sep 2, 2015 - 6:18 AM -------------------- ![]() 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation エキサイティングカーレーシングチーム! march 2010 COTM : 6GC feature 2014 : january 2015-2016-2018 COTM |

there is no "nut" on the inside. its a thicker plate of material that is threaded for the plug. if the plug is spinning, you need to drop the oil pan and either replace it, or have it drilled and tapped for the next size up plug
