like a normal day, to rebuild axle. the outer went swell. when i initially tested it, it was hard, and with a couple twists, now its smooth. needed grease to move around.

but the inner, wont budge, its stuck on straight. now i cannot even get the bearings out. any ideas?

Ha !
I was going to warn you about the axles.
The balls and cage have to be right, it can be tough to get them aligned perfectly, but do-able.

if its not upside down, its just clocked wrong, rotate it about 10 degrees and try again.

the video above is one way to do it. I have the inner race still mounted on the axle. axle in a vice and I drop the cage and balls in together with the outter race. its a PITA

When u rebuild those axles, ifs easier to leave the cage with the balls together and just clean it up and regresse it, seen it many times, where they rebuilt it, had same problem as u, then put it on a customers car, and drove it out, ripped the transmission case out lol, those axles r unbreakable
