found a local seller selling some trd cam shafts for our gen 2-3 3sge or 3sgte.
need some help, as i dont have much info on these cam shafts for fitment etc.
here are the specs
288/296 duration
10.9mm lift/ 11mm lift
if i do purchase these i do plan to run them on a gen 3 3sge engine for track purposes.
any info would be nice thank u.
i understand valve geometry as far as ill need obviously stronger springs, and correct buckets for valve adjustment.
i just need to understand about fitment will they bolt on? will i need different style keepers or valve guides? i tried to research a bit on these, couldnt find or understand anything.
much help is appreciated thank u.

Exactly. I told Michael that. I did see ones posted on Japan Yahoo auction that said they came from a race car a few weeks ago but now are no longer up.

I checked Japan TRD page and no camshaft options were available. They had CAMSHAFT in non VVT-i for the 4th and 5th generation 3SGE

I've heard of Tom's 3S-GE cams and those TRD for the beams. But have not come across anything for the the 3S-GE/GTE from TRD. That's not to say they don't exist, as I believed they made some for the old touring series the 3S-GE was used in, but not for people to buy off the counter

Apart from the other valve supporting mods, you are going to need some sort of adjustable engine management system, as the factory ecu struggles with camshafts over the 272duration /overlap, these cams will come into play with a higher rev limit too.

Have they arrived yet? any chance of photos? Could you get them degree'd so I could know the specs at 0.050" / @ 1mm valve lift to compare with the factory specs. Since I don't trust the advertised duration for comparing
