Just wondering if this can be done? Will my 95 gt axles work with the hubs? And are the brake calipers on a Camry double piston type?

No. Why not get the avalon double pistons from a 95-97 instead of all this work. Axles wont work. And yes i have a camry hub at home

What about the solara. I have a 99 I'm using for my v6 swap. Should I and do I need to upgrade the brakes for the v6?

If the calipers dont fit the celica brackets, then no. The hubs wont fit

I think really the brake power is all about just how fast you want to stop. The car still weighs the same with the aluminum V6, so it shouldn't "need" more stopping force. However for the sake of performance I'd say the brakes made for a heavier car will stop faster.
And I haven't tried it yet but they say these dual piston calipers from the Avalon bolt right on.

Camry v6 calipers are the same ones found on Avalon iirc. I don't know about solar as though. Hubs. They might fit but can't really say because never confirmed it. But one thing to know is that the camry/solara/celicas share the same transmissions and engines. So I wouldn't doubt it if the solar a hub spline will match ours also.
