I just wanted to know what you guys though go with a 2nd gen gt4 3sgte or 97 mr2 3gen american 3sgte??

There is no American 3rd gen 3SGTE.

There is no American 97 MR2.

If you go 3rd gen it has to be JDM.

2nd gen has all the OEM parts available in the US, and easier to get Aftermarket parts. For 3rd gen motors you have to order all the maintance parts from Japan, and aftermarket parts from Japan also. The plus for the 3rd Gen motors is they come with better technology and slightly higher HP numbers. The 3rd gens cost a bit more also, almost twice as much.

sorry my mistake (97 american mr2)ok then would it be better to get a mr2 2nd gen clip or a gt4 clip? confused.gif

It doesn't really matter... i charge $50 more for the wiring from a MR2 Turbo because its a lot more work to convert than a celica harness....

id say if you go USDM get a 2G Alltrac clip.... unless you have a ST and/or want to try converting the MR2 trans to FF, then it would be benificial to get the MR2 version.

actually he's right i forgot about a few things like the location of the Alternator, the lack of Powersteering pump... etc etc...

get a Celica
