With cheap wire sets the rubber end at plug connection tends to slip off and end up stuck to the spark plug all the way down inside the spark plug tube.
Then I have to dig it out with my hook and pic set and the rubber is all torn up and a tiny chunk of it ends up down in the cylinder...

Even the Denso brand wire set I got on Rockauto isn't high quality. But I called Toyota and they want $116.00 for a set of wires!
However I'm willing to pay that as long as I know I'm not going to have to deal with sheaht like this.
Can anybody confirm that the factory wire set is made better?
I'm hoping that the set I get from Toyota will be all one molded piece of silicon so it doesn't come apart

glue the little rubber part to the plug wire with silicone glue and use silicone grease on the plug so the rubber doesn't bond to it. OE wires are Sumitumo not denso I believe.

I had no issues with my NGK set, but used conductive grease. Also in the event of such and other snafus hemostats do a marvelous job of retrieving objects in hard to reach places.

Yup, back from when my mom was a registered nurse.

Sure beats going at it with a pick and hook and dropping crap into the engine. tongue.gif
