So I've searched but, I need some clarification. I'm swapping in a beams 3sge and a manual into my auto 5s car. Now I'm confused on what I need to do to bypass the neutral safety switch so I can start the car without it being in park or neutral. Now I know that in a regular auto to manual swap I just wire two things together on the engine harness to make it work but since I'm swapping in the Beams engine this can't happen. What do I need to do to be able to start my car now since it is a stick and will have a Beams in it?

There's a switch / button on the auto shifter, those two wires need to get routed over to the clutch for the clutch switch (for when you have the clutch pushed in all the way).
I think that's really it.

Are you sure, that seems a little too easy....

Well that's the neutral safety switch in the auto, the other is the neutral safety switch in the manual harness so I'm assuming you have to move it from one location to the other.
There should be a whole write up on 6GC about the Auto to Manual swap.
http://www.6gc.net/howto/swap_auto_transmission_to_manual

I know there is already a plug that is taped up above where the clutch petal would be in the auto, but I believe it's the Cruise Control disengage switch for when you press the clutch petal.

Yeah I read the how to but I don't think it's completely applicable in my situation since his engine harness was an auto one.

Do you have the wiring manual for your car?

It will be easier to understand

Ok I think I have this figured out. I think I need to make a jumper wire from the AT path to id1. I drew it out, am I in the ballpark of what I need to do
