ehh... in the past we havent had too many people enter their cars in shows, the only ones i know that activly do so are soundslut, i believe doggy started last year, and if i remember jared showed his car once or twice... anywho if more people do start showing their cars and activly post about it a sticky for car show updates maaaay be a good idea.... and i think GD section would make the most sense wouldnt it mac, because a show car covers all the bases doesnt it.

well not only doing that but also making a section on the site for upcoming car shows....for either comp. purposes or even entertainment just to know when shows are coming and stuff like putting the HIN tour in the section and some of these other random shows i've neer heard of before...i think it'd get more people out to car shows to see what new stuff is being done

ohhhh well i made the suggestion to coomer to use the blank space up on the main page to put an event calandar there, but i think the upkeep on that is just a little too much of a manual process. i think just posting a thread in the GD forum to see if anyone else is planning on going can suffice for now, if it does overcrowd then maybe put something in in terms of a new forum or stickied thread. but weve never had issues with this before.

not a problem.

the reason we arent so regional based as far as forums for meets and what not, is weve never had enough active members to feel the need or want to divide our member base into regions. the thought was that our active memberbase, athough has grown significantly, is too spread out, and these forums would basically be dead or post in very little. or would be posted in exclusively by some members, and the general boards would dry up... if things were to pick up big time for some reason, then regional forums for meets and so forth would be great. but for now we just dont have the type of member base to do it, and have it work well.
