Can someone provide me with a picture or diagram of the fog light stalk wiring?
I bought a post-face fog light stalk and as you know, preface USDM models don't have the fog light wires already routed so its not a simple plug-and-play. So I need to know where the extra wires are wired to. Can any post-face members help me out please? I want to compare with my preface light stalk. Thanks! -------------------- PROJECT 6TH GEN

I've did this myself but didn't take any pics. It's just two wires
http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...p;#entry1064444 "On your 96+ multifunction switch harness there should be 2 wires that are not on you pre face stalk harness, a green with a black stripe and white with a black stripe. 1. Your going to have to cut your preface harness, as it won't fit into your 96+ stalk and connect the wires from your car to the harness that comes with your 96+ stalk. Just match the colors as they are the same. I recommend soldering as the butt connectors can loosen with steering wheel tilt. 2. Of the two wires mentioned above that were not connected, run a wire from the white/ black stripe cable from your harness to the fog light fuse in your fuse box. 3. Run a wire from the green/ black stripe cable to your aftermarket relay. 4. Test your connection and that should do the trick." |

Thanks!
I don't know what the facelift harness looks like so I'll probably need to tinker around with it. -------------------- PROJECT 6TH GEN

The white/black can just go to ground.
The other wire (green/black) sends negative/ground when the fog switch is turned on. Just wire in a relay for the fogs and run that wire to the negative (ground) for the relay. -------------------- |
