If you have an ST206, then it is definitely a Curren, but someone must've changed the headlights, bumper, hood, and fenders. Your car's engine, assuming it's the stock one, is the 3S-FE or 3S-GE, and your car does not have four wheel steering.

Is the1994 st206 curren the same as the celica coupe?
is the super strut on the 1994st206curren the same as the super strut on the celica coupe?
bearing in mind that the st206curren has a 3sge

no, the the st206 has 3sge engine and super strut as you stated. the us coupe comes with either 5sfe or 7afe with macpherson strut suspension.

however they are structurally the same; the rear end is identical while the front is that of the celica.

You actually probably have it easier than many of us in the US when it comes to doing the swap. smile.gif

The 3S-GTE should bolt right up to your motor mounts, and you can use your 3S-GE tranny on the 3S-GTE.

You can get some Tein, JIC Magic, or Tanabe coilovers I believe. They're all expensive, but all adjustable. I'm not sure, but I believe that any coilovers that fit a ST202 with the Super Strut suspension should fit your car.

Thats roughly 175hp, and thats pretty good for a light car like the Curren/Celica.

250 to the wheels is roughty 280 at the crank, and depending on which 3sgte u get, u'll need to modify that as well.

Which part of your superstrut suspension is failing? bad struts are not going to make your car shudder...
