So lately I been window shopping for a new set of tires for my cheapo crown victoria mesh wheels which is 16x7 +20 that I bought from a pick n pull. I'm looking to get something road worthy and track worthy. Also in the size of 225/50/16. I am stuck between Falken Azenis and Dunlop ZII. I had the azenis on my 4age 20v ST AW11 and loved it. But I know these tires are produced about a decade or more ago so I feel like I want something newer. So the ZII looks beautiful and reviews are awesome. Has anyone experience the ZII before?

615ks r great but they were so fast, and terrible, the z2s r much better and cheaper, but best tire right now is the new potenza re71r or something like that, under tirerack, extreme summer performance.
I run yokohama, advans. Overpriced but it works for me. Ungot other great options like rs3 and the new federal rsr is best for price. |

RE71Rs
You may be able to find some RE11A's for cheap since they are being phased out. ZIIs are fine but the RE71Rs are whats hot right now. The even look bad ass -------------------- 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation エキサイティングカーレーシングチーム! march 2010 COTM : 6GC feature 2014 : january 2015-2016-2018 COTM |

I have the non Starspec Z2 on my 7G Celica with stiff coils, poly everything, and beefy sway bars. I need more camber up front (still) BUT the tires are predictable. Once you learn the car and the tire they'll do the same thing every time you want them to. I can induce under and over steer as I want when I want and can also avoid it. They recover easily and reliably and give some warning when letting go and feedback is good with them as well. The 71r's sound great too, maybe wait till summer is over and they've been tracked and driven more though.
