So, with the changes to PhotoBucket it's obvious that we need another method for members to link photos to their posts. I've done some checking and it seems that Amazon web services allows you to store up to 5gb of photos with 20k requests a month for free.

1) Signup for Amazon Web Services Amazon S3 then click "Create an AWS Account"
2) You will need a credit card to register, but you will not be charged unless you go over 5gb of storage or your files are requested more then 20,000 times in a month
3) Once you've registered go to "Host a static website"
4) On the lower left click on "Manage Files"
5) This brings you to a web based file manager. I chose to store my test image in the "/img" folder
6) Click Upload and browse for the file you would like to share
7) Once it's finished uploading, click on the filename in your list
8) Click the button "Make Public"
9) At the bottom of the page there will now be a link you can use to share your post

The above photo is now hosted on my Amazon Cloud Storage Solution

finding a new service is the easy part.

Rebuilding links that were made by now inactive users is the real issue

I like Flickr so far, having a mobile app for uploading pictures is really handy.

It could have more than 3 Celicas, however, the Silver and the Black are the keepers, the Green is going up for sale. So those three plus my 98 4Runner are at my place.

Thankfully my brother lives in the country and has a lot of space, my Red 94, White 96, White 99 (parts car), White 98 Vert (parts car) are there along with my 87 Supra Turbo, 88 Celica Alltrac, 00 Camry V6 Manual, and my 99 4Runner (parts truck)

Why not just use imgur? It is really handy, and works really well.

Imgur achieves the same thing without the need to enter a credit card.

Yeah Imgur is the new king of image hosting. Literally just click "upload" on the homepage and the image is there forever. No account or credit card necessary

Also, don't use Imgur to host image libraries you link to from elsewhere, content for your website, advertising, avatars, or anything else that turns us into your content delivery network. If you do – and we will be the judge – or if you do anything illegal, in addition to any other legal rights we may have, we will ban you along with the site you're hotlinking from, delete all your images, report you to the authorities if necessary, and prevent you from viewing any images hosted on Imgur.com. We mean it.

Cause that's why not to use IMGUR for hosting and hotlinking a ton of stuff to car forums, they don't want you to. They don't seem to enforce it much but at some point they will, especially with everyone flocking there now.

Reddit uses Imgur for about 80% of image hosting. They're not going to do anything unless you are hosting pictures of something that is illegal.

Yep, and eventually they'll do something and probably it'll be inclusive of reddit but not forums.

Nahh if they didn't like forums they wouldn't include this:
