Is there any electrics involved with the egr? I'm truly at a loss and have one week before my temp registration expires and I'll be liable for a ticket. My friend and were looking at the evap canister, we put the car up on jacks, took apart the rear of the car, and found a broken plastic piece attached to some vacuum lines, we modified the piece and hooked it back, light came back on. Egr, modulator, and vsv are new, not getting evap canister code. I don't know what to do! ! I'm starting to think its electrical or the computer is glitching or some ****. Need help! Anyone in Sacramento, CA?

i was getting both codes, insufficient and excessive flow. i replaced the VSV under the manifold.

are you sure your vacuum lines are correct? there is an EGR temp sensor, maybe that has gone bad?

My friend and I are gonna work on it today. Tomorrow is my last day of legal driving as my smog extension runs out. I'm gonna buy new vacuum line, and maybe another vsv.
