Part out of my Celica.
Soon available for people who loves real race suspension.
It's not cheap, but there is nothing better than this if you want to combine fast street and race!

Front    mainspring        180 – 100            180 is the open length in mm and the 100 is the kg / cm or Nm / mm
Front    helper spring       80 – 30
Rear     main spring       200 – 60
Rear     helper spring       100 – 6

Intrax suspension link

(picture on the website is my car, I was the first Celica with the 1K2 in the Netherlands)

What Intrax says about the 1k2 suspension:

1K2 shock absorber:
The 1K2 is a real “high-end” shock absorber for demanding street- and competition use.
The 1K2 is build using the finest materials.
The housing is made from 7075 aluminum.
This guarantees low weight, maximum strength and optimum cooling.
The 1K2 damper is always chosen in the largest size possible for the most accurate damping control: normally a 46mm body with a 40mm piston and a 16mm piston rod.
Mc. Pherson struts are normally converted from the standard 22mm piston rod to an upside-down system with a 40 or 45mm guidance tube for maximum stiffness and wheel guidance.
This is especially important when the G-forces are higher than obtainable with the standard vehicle.
The 1K2 can optionally be equipped with the “Black Titan” coating on the guidance- and piston rod.
This is a coating that cannot rust and is extreme hard and smooth.
The friction is lowered with these piston rods, improving comfort, reducing oil temperatures, improving traction and extending life time under the severest conditions.
The “Black Titan” is a luxury which - if you can afford it – is certainly recommended.
When there is sufficient room available, the 1K2 can be equipped with a “spring rate adjuster” which makes it possible to change the spring constant without removal of the struts/springs.
See for more info the category products > spring rate adjuster,

Settings
We take suspension serious.
Therefore we offer for most applications different settings on the spring rates, shim stacks and damping pistons:
* Fast street / occasional trackday.
An upgrade to the sportive side from the OEM equipment.
Daily comfort, vibration and noise levels are just as important as handling.
* Trackday / bumpy race circuit / Nordschleife.
A suspension to race on both smooth and bumpy circuits.
It is possible to ride to- and from the circuits.
Ride height is enough to drive on public roads.
Laptimes and handling are more important than comfort levels.
* Full-race / rally.
Stiff suspension, designed to work with slicks and rollcage fitted. Not useable on the street. Lap time optimized.

Options

ARC (Anti Roll Control)®
After years of development Intrax did it.
They developed a unique way to drastically reduce unwanted roll (lateral and longitudinal).
Your car will have the comfort and all the other benefits of driving with “soft” springs like extra grip and traction, until you take a corne or need to brake then ARC® will control ride height with the feel of a sport/race/rally  setup.
While driving over a curb, through a putt hole or over jumps the suspension will absorb them like driving with soft springs.
At the same time  ARC® will make sure that your suspension won’t  during these conditions. So for the first time you can have the benefits of a soft spring set up without  the disadvantages of too much body roll and/or collapsing suspension in putt holes, jumps, curbs.

Black Titan
Black Titan is a development that has been done for the military air force.
They were looking for something that would make the engines more resistant to the various tortures they are exposed to (frostbite, extreme heat, snow, sandstorm etc.).
This has become Black Titan, extremely hard, very low friction coefficient and resistant to corrosion.
After using Black Titan on their aircraft engines, the maintenance interval was sometimes extended by 100%.
Intrax has thought that, what is good for their engines is also good enough for our shock absorbers.
The coating is placed on the guide and piston rod, which are no longer prone to corrosion, but the friction with the other components is also reduced, which again benefits the damper's action.

Intrax is a Dutch manufacturer of high-end suspension technology with over 35 years experience at the highest levels in racing.
Intrax designs and produces shock absorbers, springs and suspension packages for Formula 1 cars, road cars and everything in between.
In addition to an elaborate street- and competition program, Intrax also delivers “custom-made solutions”.
Please inform at us what we can mean for you.

My setup is a full option one!
With the ARC and Black Titan!!
Pillowball topmounts front and rear, and camberplates on front!
the new value was almost $7500,-.
I will sell them for $4700,- including shipping worldwide.

for the people how want more, I can make a deal and you are race ready!!
For the rear I also sell my Techno Toy Tuning tunable trailing and control arms!

FOR BOTH, THE INTRAX AND TECHNO TOY TUNING TOGETHER FOR $5000,- including shipping worldwide!

the C-One Company (which would be just like Mugen for Honda's) used to make Coilovers for Superstrut ST205 n ST202 charged $3000 for coilovers back in the day, but wow you paid that much new!!! insane??? and you never showed us any video's of track days??? good luck with the sale...

not that im interested in buying, but what are the spring rates...????

funny you just posted this because a members is selling the lowering springs. had no clue they were such an expensive brand...

if you look closely you see that there is a topic called "lots of stuff for sale".
that topic was online before the guy who sells the lowering springs. ;-)

tell me why an onboard movie would make the difference?
If I drive, I drive slower than Lewis Hamilton.
can you see if the suspension is good or not?
I think Lewis is faster with a minivan, than when I drive in my Celica. laugh.gif
So a onboard doesnt say nothing about the Intrax or other suspension!

if you google the words Netherlands and suspension, you get 3 major brands.
Intrax, AST suspension and Reiger suspension.
all 3 top quality brands who making suspension for all kinds of race classes over the world.
It does not have to come out of Japan to be perfect!

you ask for the springrates:

Front    mainspring        180 – 100            180 is the open length in mm and the 100 is the kg / cm or Nm / mm
Front    helper spring       80 – 30
Rear     main spring       200 – 60
Rear     helper spring       100 – 6

That price range is what I got quoted for custom one-off coilovers from Penske. The price isnt unimaginable, it's just odd seeing it next to a name that isnt as well known in the states.

Suspension setup always seems like a dark art to me (along with aero) and sometimes I wonder if I would be able to tell the difference between my $1.7k setup vs a $5k setup. In the end, you work with what you have.

Id love to see these go to someone in the states so I could give them a try

sad to see this will probably never sell at that price. my paint job a full respray in silver with removing all the windows and doing door sills costs $4000.

only person i see buying this would be tigawoods.

by the way, did you every road race your car. as in starting from the grid with passing whenever you want, at any corner?? its something id really like to do in the future

Price is always negotiable! ;-)

The last few years I drove my car was full race track.
On the road you can’t do what you can do on the track.
And you’re right, my respray was also about 4000.
I have a price list from Intrax where the best of the best is on.
The 4-way kit is about the double in price :-)

Too much for my tight budget these days lol. Im sticking with TEIN brand because of the EDFC and its compatibility with 2-Way. Or custom Penske since they are local. But those are like $7-10k for custom built.
