with the exception of the top, whats the big differences between a regular GT and a Convert GT? Reason that i am asking is a nice Convert poped up and i am thinking about trading my ST for it.... any suggestions?

Mechanically there is no difference I can think of besides a weight difference.
The vert may weigh more because of the reinforcing done to the body... |

You will see a difference in the price of your insurance. The GT is higher than the ST and the convertible was even higher than a regular GT.

I love my vert!! I cant imagine having a hatch or coupe or anything else! But what they are saying is true, the vert is heavier and might be a bit more costly in insurance. Also the body is like the coupe, so body kits wont fit well in the back. But the joys of driving cross country with the top down overshadow all those things for me.

id choose a vert over a coupe or hatch... my last car was a vert (lebaron turbo), and i kinda miss throwing the top down...

are all celis power tops? meaning u dont have to put the top down urself

Yea, I love my vert, insurance aint that high though, it will be a slight difference but you wont find yourself breaking the bank.
I just really wish it was manual, but besides that I love it. And yes all celi's had power tops, but you can also remove it manually. |
