i got hit in the driver door and fender area
it looked drivable to the naked eye but yesterday the tranny and differential burnt up because the c/v axle was pushed into the diff and it cracked the case. i didnt see the crack until it was too late

it eded up being a no fault accident because of the way the cop drew up the report
so i am just screwed out of a car even though he clearly hit me

I dont know how it is down there, but here we have no fault insurance, so basically your insurance pays regardless, have you already looked into it? I would fight it if they deny you your compensation

if he has liability then he's not going to get anything, thats only for full coverage.

the insurance will cover the value or at least what they think is the proper value but i don't know how much that is going to be

if and when i get a new vehicle it will probably be real cheap so i can pay it off and get liability because around here if you have a loan or lease on a car/truck you have to have full coverage


the bad part is i only had the car 8 months
