Just curious as to what everyone thinks about it cause i was thinking about getting it and painting my car blue like the one in the pic

I think you just missed a group buy that happened. I think it was K2 who was running it where you could get the combat kit for a small amount of money.

Edit: Personally, I really like the kit. It is an upgrade that is very subtle and doesn't make the celica look too garish. For sure go with it!

actually i was never able to get the GB togeather, there were alot of people who wanted it, but werent able to pay at that time for it, if i remember right the GB would have brought the cost down to 300 instead of its original 400 (with 8 people).

i however lucked out and bought it off manny for an incredable 200 bucks. i have it in my garage and it looks incredable, cant wait for good weather to install it, if youd like i can link you to some pics i have of it.

it does have its problems though, the fit around the headlights is supposedly not the greatest and needs a little refiberglassing. the kit is surprisingly thin even for a fiberglass bodykit, i will need to reinforce it with tigerfur. and lastly the lip goes all the way back to the wheelwell causing it to lay ontop of the fender. this leaves you 2 options, cut the wheelwell and mold the kit on, or overlay it on the wheelwell as is and figure out a way for it not to mess up the paint on the fender IE pad it with a rubber or something... im opting for #2 because unfortunatly i lack a winter car, and i dont want to drive with the kit on through the snow up here in MI.

this kit is well worth the money however, i love the look of it. OH and also you need to buy supra style turnsignals to fit the side vents, theyre about 40 bucks off procarparts.com

any good bodyshop that specializes with fiberglass should make it fit reasonably well, no doubt its going to run a little higher on the installation bill however. i will be able to give exact #s this march on cost and what EXACTLY will be done on mine.

oh jeez i wish... im only 17 and a sr in highschool. the celica is all mine, the eclipse is like 1/2 mine whereas it will be my sisters in 2 years when she gets her license. currently its my dads winter car and my car when the celica is OOC (out of commision) or i am not in the mood to drive a 5spd. the firebird is my dads toy, hes going to finish fully restoring it this summer and it is very close to being done, and the mustang is his summer car just for the heck of it i guess... you cant really see it too well but beside the eclipse is my moms saturn L300, and not pictured is our beater 90 S-10 which my dad took to work today. imagine that 6 cars and 3 drivers... lol and they all fit in our garage and driveway... its a constant party lol. ive driven both the firebird and the mustang. the firebird twice, its WICK3D, and i take the mustang quite a bit in the summer. saves milage and gas on the celi plus my gf loves the convert.

how does it fit into the front vents on your stock bumper?

i gotta take the stock bumper off, its a full replacement, i just set the bumper infront of the car and lined it up as best as i could using an old boxspring matress and a grimey sleeping bag. just trying to get a feel of how it will look and how low im looking at.

you can see there that its just lying i front of my stock bumper unattached.
