has anyone installed an aftermarket cooler unit for the power steeing system? oem has fins that sit on the right side of the vehicle, but contacted toyota in japan and they said it was discontinued. I know an aftermarket kit will cool much better than oem.

Because racecar! ya duh. while the superstrut design provides less scrubbing on the front wheels toyota put a steering cooler on it. with sticky enough tires on the track it will tend to boil over, someone has mentioned this to me. The mk4 supra has it as well as the integra type R. just future proofing the vehicle. -------------------- Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle parts

Dodge Caravan PS coolers are small and pretty inexpensive, look for one of those somewhere and swap to a good synthetic ATF. Should be good enough cooling for most use. Otherwise something from like a F250 might work but that's getting big.
